I think sometimes people forget that franchise owners are small local business owners as well, just like the rest of us. Putting one foot in front of the other day after day to put a smile on their customers faces, food on the table for their family and in Jo’s case yummy donuts in peoples tummies.

A visit to Donut King Stockland for coffee, donuts and a chat has been a part of my weekly routine, well forever really. Most Tuesdays for the last 14 years I have been fortunate enough to enjoy donuts and coffee with my grandparents Marge & Ray. Sadly Pop passed away a few years ago now and Nan, at 89, is just a little too tired for weekly coffee dates but the memories I treasure of these times are priceless and all include donuts and the friendly, family like service of Jo, Michael and the team at Donut King Stockland. It is also a great opportunity for a quick catch up with my sister Jess who is the very talented donut decorator and coffee machine wizz, the benefits of having a sister who is a barista is that your coffee is always exactly how you love it ❤️☕️

The Donut King Team at Stockland have been a part of many families weekly routine, weather a donut to keep the kids quiet while doing the weekly grocery shopping, a takeaway coffee on the way to work or a leisurely catch up with friends (or grandparents) over coffee and donuts, Stocklands wouldn’t be the same without donuts and this small local business run my a local family.

Pop over and like their Facebook page Donut King and keep an eye out for our combined competition starting in the next couple of days, who doesn’t love donuts and someone else doing the ironing for you 😀🍩❤️
